Department: Asphalt Job Status: Full Time/Weather Dependent FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: TBD Grade/Level: $30.00 to $35.00 / hr D.O.E Amount of Travel Required: None

Work Schedule Monday through Saturday. 7:00am to 5:30pm but start times will vary depending on the project schedule and weather conditions forecast from early morning to late evening with occasional Sundays and Night work.

Elite Surface Infrastructure Overview Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.

POSITION SUMMARY ESI is hiring Asphalt Laydown Machine Screed Operators for (Asphalt Laydown Machines). Maintain equipment in addition to other duties. Experience Required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to efficiently operate Laydown Machine Screed on one of the following equipment or equivalent to: Asphalt Laydown Machines - Cat 1055F, Cat 1055E, Cat 555F, Cat 655, ASTEC RP-175 pavers. Knowledge of best paving practices and understanding different mix types with compaction and rolling patterns. Strive for excellence in every project to achieve optimal results and goals. Possess an ownership attitude and be willing to grow and mentor other team members. Recognize and communicate change of conditions to Foreman. At end of each shift, ensure job site is clean, flow lines are clear of debris and equipment is cleaned, greased, fueled and ready for next day shift. Ensure company equipment is properly maintained and cared for. Communicate all maintenance, breakdowns, and damages to Foreman. Report all accidents and damages immediately to your Foreman. Enforce company policies and procedures. Establish and maintain effective communication within our organization.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to commute/relocate: Colorado Springs or Pueblo Colorado: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience: 2 years related experience Other Requirements Valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (hard hat, eye & ear protection, safety vest, gloves, dust mask or respirator, fall protection gear, etc.).

WORK ENVIRONMENT Outdoor, and varying weather conditions.
