While working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate in this role will be expected to manage the general administrative needs of the AP and AR department. Invoicing, collections, matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. Your responsibilities in this role

Essential Functions:

• Reviews and receives goods into the Accounting system.

• Processes invoices for payment.

• Assists with inventory management in the Accounting system.

• Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.

• Ensures proper GL coding.

• Scanning and filing invoices.

• Reviews financial information for accuracy.

• Performs all other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Detail oriented and accurate.

• Must be able to work effectively in a schedule-driven environment.

• Must be able to manage budgets and avoid delay costs including shipping.

• Ability to quickly identify, analyze and resolve problems.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments with little supervision.

• Ability to adapt to frequent, rapid changes in the work environment.

• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
