CNC Lathe Set-up
A CNC lathe set-up is responsible forsetting up and operating CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints, ensuring quality and adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setup Operator:
- Machine Setup:Setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Programming:May involve programming or modifying CNC programs to achieve desired results.
- Quality Control:Inspecting parts for quality and ensuring they meet specifications.
- Troubleshooting:Identifying and resolving machine malfunctions or issues during operation.
- Safety:Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations when operating machinery.
- Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines.
- Material Handling:Handling and loading materials safely and efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, programming, and troubleshooting.
