The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the position of Apprentice Electric Lineman (1st year 3rd year). \$25.00-\$35.71/hour, dependent upon qualifications, plus excellent benefit package. Position duties include: assist in construction, maintenance and repair of electrical distribution/transmission lines; respond to power outages and electrical problems, operate equipment needed for maintaining and repairing electrical distribution/transmission lines. Must be able to climb, work at heights, ability to lift up to 75% and work in extreme outdoor conditions. Must have self-motivation to complete classroom and on-the-job training required to complete the 3 year apprenticeship program.
