JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing customers and generating sales from new customers. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring customer trust and satisfaction and maintaining contact with the customer focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship. You will works with Sr. management in developing target customers and landing the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for your account base

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Nurture longer-term prospects.

  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement

  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape.

  • Manage day-to-day client communication, quotations, enquiries and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects. Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis

  • As necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities

  • Cold calls, engages with and develops prospects to be closed by Sales team

  • Contacts and schedules appointments with senior management and/or executives in target market(s)

  • Follows-up with prospects who responded to marketing programs and campaigns to qualify lead.

  • Assists remote sales managers/directors with information requests as needed.

  • Assists in customer contact and organization of customer tours and visits as needed. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong self-directed, cold prospecting, research and persuasion skills.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.

  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • experience in the electronics industry desired
