Title: Child Care Aide Description/Position Type: At-Will (Non-Affiliated)/School Age Child Care Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: Until Filled


Days: Monday - Friday Times: 6:45am - 9:00am and/or 3:00 pm to 6:00pm Must be 18 years or older Hours may vary $12.75-15.00/HR depending on experience


Title: S.A.C.C. Aide FLSA: Non- Exempt Reports to: S.A.C.C. Director Position Summary: Supports the Director to ensure the best possible learning experience for school-age children in a safe and secure environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities: (These duties and responsibilities are judged to be "essential functions" in terms of the Americans With Disabilities Act or ADA) Duties may include: crafts, games, stories, lunchtime, etc. Assist in planning and organizing daily events. Monitor children on the playground. Communicate with the community, staff, and students to answer questions, and disseminate or explain information.

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: May be required to attend CPR/First Aid training.

Experience: Experience working with children's groups and/or training in early childhood development or childcare, preferred.

Knowledge: Knowledge of school policies and safety regulations, required.

Skills: Good communication skills, required.

Abilities: Ability to be caring, understanding, and friendly toward students, required. Ability to relate to children with special needs, required. Ability to read and interpret school policies and handbook, required. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, required. Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and community, required.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
