Job description

The Investor Relations department plays a crucial role in the relationship between a listed company and the financial markets and is highly exposed to company's top management and financial community. The department is in charge of defining and communicating the company’s strategy, equity story and financial information to the broader investment community and manages the relationships with investors and financial analysts.

As Investor Relations apprentice , you’ll participate in developing BIC’s visibility and to take investor relations to the next level by extending our interactions and pro-active initiatives with the investment community. We bring joy & simplicity to everyday life – and we need you to help share that story.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Communications, you will support the entire team (4 people) in the following areas:

  • The preparation of key IR events: quarterly financial results publication, annual shareholders meeting (AGM), investor days (presentations / press release, occasional French/English translations in both directions)

  • Provide support on logistics for events such as investor conferences, roadshows, AGM

  • Participate to the editing and review of the Universal Registration document (Annual report)

  • Update and improve BIC investors’ website (notably press releases and presentations, key figures, ESG section, regulated information, analyst consensus)

  • Monitor the investors relations’ mailbox and transfer to relevant people

  • Support the IR coordinator by proactively contributing to BIC's shareholder database (CRM) and foster a good knowledge of BIC’s investor base

  • Participation in various ad hoc projects

What we’re looking for:

  • You are pursuing a master’s degree in business and/or Finance or equivalent and have a strong interest in financial markets

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written in French and in English

  • Autonomy, reactivity and listening skills

  • Strong financial and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle highly confidential information

  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, dynamic environment

  • Interest in a variety of subjects (communication, finance, strategy)

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Strong academics and a background in financial services is preferred
