Job Description Position Summary You will participate in the full software development lifecycle. You will report to the Engineering Manager of multiple software teams. Development is performed in a team environment using sound engineering and software development practices and technology and typically involves complex system design or product architecture designs. Responsibilities include collaborating with product managements, architects and team leads to identify product and feature level requirements across multiple teams. You will lead the effort to ensure the teams are following Rockwell's security processes. We are looking for someone who will use a diverse set of technical backgrounds and opinions by promoting a team-oriented environment and the use of open and direct communications. You will also seek knowledge of new developments in software engineering and security fields and will identify and pursue career development opportunities. Your Responsibilities: Communicate with all levels of management to gather and document program level requirements Apply technical expertise and have knowledge of other related disciplines including IT infrastructure, applications and security architectures. Design technical solutions to complex problems Work with multi-campus teams Guide project requirements and goals. Evaluate Technology solutions. Provide cost/benefit recommendations. Integrate with other components, solving complex system problems, to produce a final product. Lead reviews of documents, designs, and user documentation. Keep informed of new developments in the software engineering and computer engineering fields and share through the organization. Identify and participate in technical developmental training opportunities. Research, considers, and explores new possibilities using the latest technologies and standards. May function as a go-to person for a technology, security methodology or other area of expertise. Guide or contribute to capability improvement in software development practices and development tools. The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's Degree. The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience in a software product development environment Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar fields. Experience with node-based web applications Agile software development using Scrum/SAFe Additional security skills Secure development skills Experience with secure development lifecycle management Experience advocating for secure development practices across multiple product groups Experience with software threat modeling Industrial communications; OPC UA, CIP, EtherNet/IP Object-oriented design using C++, C#, or Java (Desired but not required) Networks; Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wireshark Agile software development using Scrum Architect modular software One or more of these technologies - High availabil
