Position: We're looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the daily, general ledger accounting activity as well as reconciliations, and reporting for multiple projects in development from the predevelopment stage through the post construction close out. The annual salary range is $60,000 - $65,000.

The right candidate will be able to:

 

Handle Cash Management and Invoice Processing for Partnerships in Development/Construction Phase---

  • Analyze and manage cash flow to ensure that adequate cash is available for monthly payouts through the construction close out.
  • Prepare and manage through receipt all draw requests including those to the bank, government agencies, equity partners and any other resource to the project.
  • Record cash receipts to general ledger and prepare cash flow report.
  • Review and code monthly construction and development invoices for each project.
  • Review and send monthly construction AIA invoices to bank inspector.
  • Work closely with construction team to ensure that all compliance documentation is collected before vendor checks are mailed.

     

Create Reports for Multiple Partnerships---

  • Prepare monthly financial status reports for each project, analyze, and explain budget variances.
  • General Ledger responsibilities for various partnerships in operations and development.
  • Prepare work papers and audit schedules for the annual audit and tax return of various partnerships in operations and development.
  • Review draft audit reports and tax returns.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

 

Required Education: 

  • BA/BS in Accounting.

Experience:          

  • A minimum of three years of Accounting experience with a focus on Account Reconciliation and Program Analysis.
