ABOUT THE ROLE: The Senior Application Developer, Full Stack role will be responsible for the broader process of developing and deploying enhancements and/or new applications used in local, networked, cloud-based or internet-related computer programs. They will use their technical expertise in programming languages, tools, and delivery models, in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions. This role requires a foundational understanding of programming languages, tools, and delivery models, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. The incumbent will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately, the incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring the organization's software applications are effective, efficient, and provide a seamless experience for the end-users. WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO: Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using current programming languages Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software Collaborate and communicate closely with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and programming languages to ensure the team's skills and expertise are current This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience 4-6+ years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering Experience in Oracle, OIC, Event Hubs, Service Bus Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or JenkinsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Technical Skills Database Management Systems Front-End Development Tools Programming Languages Code Prompt Engineering Cloud Technologies & Platforms Data Analysis Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Methodology Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Front-End Coding Languages Web Services & APIs Systems Integration Software Testing & Quality Assurance Methodologies & Tools Automated Testing Tools Containerization Version Control Tools Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience An individual should be capable of maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP both R12 and Cloud) systems, particularly in supplier-related activities. Payables and Purchasing knowledge are nice to have. Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL and expertise in technology integration and designing interfaces between systems. Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure.
