LOCATION: Candidates must be located inOhio or Pennsylvania.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the electrical design of the project assigned. Specifically, this position will utilize expert knowledge and skills in the engineering and design of electrical systems. Projects assigned to the Senior Electrical Engineer are generally larger and more complex in nature. This position is responsible for identifying and providing solutions to complex electrical design problems. The Senior Electrical Engineer will initiate conceptual designs subject to the review and approval of the Electrical Engineer Team Lead, Engineering Manager, and Preconstruction Manager.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all aspects of the electrical design of the project assigned

Organize the design and engineering effort required to facilitate the project

Report to the team lead electrical engineer regarding scheduling requirements

Direct and accept responsibility for the work of designers and engineers assigned to the project

Make any adjustments to drawings, calculations, and specifications as required by the team lead electrical engineer

Must be familiar with the project's scope of work, engineering hours budget, and construction budget

Assist in developing and maintaining drafting, design, and engineering standards

Utilize knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, materials, and other physical sciences to complete the drawings with minimal supervision

Collaborate with project teams to monitor and meet miles
