As a Lead Engineer Tech here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing the technical engineering activities in our Clearwater, FL location. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the company by certifying, repairing and maintaining critical test equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, drive innovation, and ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. Your ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive innovation
Mechanical and/or Electrical experience is needed for this position to support and maintain the test equipment.
Ensure the successful execution of engineering projects
Make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement
U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
MUST HAVE
2+ years of experience in technical engineering.
2+ years of experience working and maintaining test equipment.
Working experience with general purpose test equipment.
Hands on experience with Computer Hardware/Software troubleshooting and repair.
Strong mechanical and electrical background for troubleshooting and repairing test equipment
Must be able to obtain a DOD Clearance
WE VALUE
Associates engineering degree Technical Certification
Knowledge of instrumentation and communication busses (GPIB, MIL-STD-1553, FireWire, RS-232, RS-422, and Wireless are a plus
Ability to follow and execute certification/calibration procedures, and or create new procedures for new test equipment
Ability to accept responsibility for tasks, set clear objectives; and monitor results
Experience in driving innovation and process optimization
Project management skills
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in technical engineering
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
