Summary
A Manual Machinist has an in depth knowledge of manual mills, lathes, tool making, tool sharpening, and grinders.
They are able to interpret drawings and prints; uses mathematical skills to determine measurements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Use company-supplied machines including manual based mills and surface grinders.
- Sharpen, shim, replace and fit parts to specifications
- Follow direction from plant manager and supervisors in order to facilitate production needs
- Maintain a clean work space and properly clean and maintain work equipment
Qualifications
3+ years of manual machining experience
