The Coca-Cola Company Senior Manager, NSR Global Data Stewardship in Ciudad de México, Mexico

This role provides operational expertise in all processes related to NSR (Net Sales Revenue). A vital part of this role is to ensure that data integrity & data quality are maintained for all bottler sales data that is collected through the NSR Operations team. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end data collection process which includes but is not limited to data collection, cleansing, manipulation, mining, validation, analysis, and data upload into NSR system. Integrator between TCCC business and Managed Service Provider (MSP), team is responsible for assessing and executing master data transactions. Coordinates MSP support for initiatives, changing business requirements, process improvements, and other escalations of data related needs.

Senior Manager, NSR Global Data Steward leads the maintenance and support of Global Master Data processes as related to NSR (Net Sales Revenue) by working directly with the Managed Service Provider. This role is integral to the company's data ingestion and data management processes, and responsible for determining how to meet new and changing business needs for the company's digital journey through master data.

The Platform Services Global Master Data Operations team's intent is to act as a trusted adviser to internal clients and to bottling partners regarding NSR Master Data and drive cross-functional alignment to deliver company Data objectives; to ensure on-time delivery of complete and accurate bottler volume and revenue data; to support master data initiative for global deployment projects; adherence to PS DS Governance through data management policies, procedures, stewardship awareness; and implement global improvements supporting master data and quality.

What You'll Do for Us

  • Leadership and Technical Advisory: lead the managed service provider (Data Operations team), known as the first line of technical support for the company's principal financial tool, NSR. This role involves strategic direction and hands-on approach to navigate complex data challenges, ensuring efficient data handling and workflow.

  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly master data operational routines that must be completed to ensure completeness and accuracy of NSR data to be used by Finance teams.

  • Ensure Month-End-Close activities are being completed to consistently close the month on the first Monday of every fiscal month.

  • Work with Data & Analytics, Finance and Strategy teams to make sure inputs received by these teams are validated before being loaded into NSR

  • Validate bottler data before loading into NSR to ensure that sales data in NSR is the single source of truth

  • Work closely with CDM (Central Data Management) team to create new BPP codes

  • Work closely with Bottling Partners and internal stakeholders to clean and standardize local hierarchy mappings.

  • Establish effective processes for incident and requests handling and connecting with support teams to ensure no interruptions in systems functionality

  • Maintain user access and conduct periodic access checks to NSR system

  • Establish and document standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing NSR cubes

  • Resolve and coordinate business table handling for up/downstream data syndication errors

  • Adhere to and implement recommendations from NSR Data Governance to ensure integrity and data quality across requests

  • Serve as the data SME for NSR within the Operating Unit

  • Validate processes and maintain thorough understanding of master data and their limitations

  • You will act as a liaison between our global development team and the business units for the development and implementation of new features and enhancement of NSR, translating business requirements into application requirements.

  • Technical Escalation Expert: As the foremost technical support layer, you will act as the highest escalation point for data processing issues within the NSR tool. You are expected to leverage an advanced understanding of NSR's operational architecture, including Azure Blob Storages, Databases, and Synapse. You will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and modifying Microsoft Azure Dataflows and Pipelines to ensure effective and accurate data manipulation/transformation.

  • Problem-solving - Analytical mindset: In this role you will be accountable for identifying, analyzing mitigating data quality problems associated with our global bottling partners.

  • Configuration and User Acceptance Testing: You will be responsible for the process of integrating new bottlers into our data reporting framework, clarifying the configuration process, supervising file conversions, preparing UAT environments, creating test cases, and delivering comprehensive demos to business and IT teams.

  • You will be expected to build sustainable relationships with the bottling partner(s) and our OU functions to drive strategic IT changes related to the NSR Datalake.

  • Identify potential threats for the product delivery and help to remove them

  • Managing stakeholders and vendors as IT Business Partner and bringing innovation from outside.

  • Prioritize and recommend opportunities to enhance data quality standards, tools, processes, problem resolution for innovation & complex master data business processes and the ability to implement continuous improvement solutions

  • Ensure policies, procedures, and measures are in place to support achievement of efficiency, and effectiveness objectives. (Reviews output of data quality analysis (QC, KPI's, SLAs) and performance needs along with the creation of action plan to achieve desired outcome)

  • Leverage strong data management background to help solve TCCC master data opportunities by partnering with geographically cross-functional teams of data sources

  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with TCCC and Managed Service Provider (MSP) stakeholders to problem solve and enhance tools or processes.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education and/or relevant experience

  • 3+ years of experience in data collection/loading/mining/analysis

  • Experience in process improvement

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and lead change

  • Experience with the following tools:

  • BI tools (ie. Power BI)

  • MS Excel

  • MS Azure Stack (ie. DevOps, Dynamics 365)

  • Experience in working in Agile methodology

  • Preferably, hands-on collaboration experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP)

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data management with preference of NSR concepts & processes

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to problem-solve or develop actionable solutions

  • Attention to detail while maintaining perspective on big picture

  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-changing business environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with marketing and/or consumer sales data

  • Experience in working internationally with different cultures

  • Strong team player. Flexible and able to coordinate team effectively both in and outside of office hours (month closing peak times often require after-hours support)

  • Fluent in English (all bottler and internal stakeholder exchanges will require English)
