Description We're looking for a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. Consider this position if you enjoy working as part of a team. Are you a skilled Financial Analyst? Duties will consist of financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Must be able to effectively advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This role via Robert Half provides an exciting opportunity to perform in a business partner capacity in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management with fellow colleagues. This Financial Analyst role is located in the City of Industry, California, and it is a permanent employment opportunity.

What you get to do every day

• Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations

• Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly

• Complete and direct forecasting reports

• Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting

• Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

• Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

• Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date

• The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information

• Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)

• Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization Requirements - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system

• Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

• Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferred)

• Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

• Demonstrated knowledge of month end closings

• Comprehensive knowledge of budget forecasting

• Complex Financial Analysis experience

• Financial analysis experience highly desired

• Adeptness in financial modeling

• General familiarity with financial reporting

• Deep understanding of budgeting

• Financial Forecast experience required
