Pickaway County Community Action Organization,Inc. Part Time Transit Driver in Circleville, Ohio
JOB SUMMARY: Provides transportation services to individuals and groups, completes and maintains the necessary documentation as required by the program. Assists customers in and out of the vehicle and ensures all passengers are safe and secured. Assists persons in wheelchairs and other medical aids.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Driving experience with public transit system is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a courteous, professional manner.
- Ability to multi-task and provide appropriate documentation for all tasks assigned.
- Must obtain and maintain proper licenses (valid Ohio driver's license) to operate a public transit system and have a good driving history. Driver's Abstract from the Ohio BMV will be required
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, as well as bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule, which may include some weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
