Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager with a proven track record in the manufacturing sector to join a fast-paced and growth-oriented organization. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic leadership, hands-on operational expertise, and people-centric solutions to support the company’s goals and drive its talent strategy forward. Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership: Design, develop, and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, with a focus on the unique challenges and opportunities within a manufacturing environment.
Talent Management: Lead recruitment, retention, succession planning, and workforce development efforts to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent.
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees by managing concerns confidentially and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Compliance & Policies: Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, and ensure HR policies are up-to-date and properly communicated.
Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes and help implement coaching and feedback methodologies that promote employee development.
Labor Relations: Partner with operations leadership to manage labor relations effectively, including, but not limited to, union interactions and/or workforce engagement strategies, as applicable.
HR Metrics: Track, analyze, and report workforce trends and HR metrics to inform decision-making and improvement area
Requirements
Key Qualifications
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
HR Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in senior or managerial roles. Experience in the manufacturing industry is mandatory.
Certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or related certifications are highly desired.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse teams and levels.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven capacity to address complex workplace challenges with sound solutions and professional judgment.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS systems and standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, etc.).
Must-Have Competencies
Deep understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations specific to the manufacturing sector.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Solid leadership, coaching, and team management skills to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret workforce data to inform organizational strategy and practical HR applications.
