UC HEALTH LLC Registered Nurse (RN-CN1), Operating Room Novice, ONA in CINCINNATI, Ohio

Registered Nurse (RN-CN1 ONA), Operating Room-Novice UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room-Novice program at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Have you always wanted to join the Operating room? If you are a new graduate or an experienced RN without prior operating room experience, the novice program is for you! The Novice Program is a 6-months program designed to prepare registered nurses for their new role in the Operating Room. During this time, registered nurses will complete orientations, classroom work, simulations, and begin working with preceptors through the different service lines rotations. Service lines include: ortho, plastics, burns, podiatry, ENT, neuro, eye, oral, transplant, vascular, GI, robotics, GYN, thoracic, trauma, and general surgery. Upon completion, RNs will be able to function independently in the circulating and scrub role for the Operating Room. Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Associates of Science Degree, required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
  • Current OH RN License
  • OR and/or Perioperative experience, preferred
