He/she provides administrative direction for assigned nursing personnel. He/she is responsible for coordinating daily staffing in collaboration with the Clinical Managers and Clinical Director. The House Supervisor is the acting Administrative representative for decision making on weekends, holidays and after hours, in collaboration with the designated Oncall Administrator. Assigns and reassigns unit staff based on patient care needs, continuity, acuity and budgetary guidelines.
Reviews staffing sheets for accuracy.
Assigns float staff based on staffing grid/ratio and staff expertise.
