Job Description

Insight Global is looking for entry level Engineering Technicians/Designers located in Cincinnati, OH This person will be supporting projects relating to distribution design for their end clients within the utilities industry. These projects will include engineering initiatives for lighting, joint use, and market ready initiatives. Design work will pertain replacements of poles and single target work. This person must have an eagerness and ability to learn new skills relating to design layouts and software tools for the creation of these designs.

Skills and Requirements

At least an Associates degree, trade school, High School Diploma, or engineering certifications, or work experience in an engineering related field

0-5 years of work experience in an engineering related field

Some form of engineering software or work/school related experience: AutoCAD, CAD, blue prints, schematics, assembling, drafting, wiring, Solidworks, GIS, fielding, technician, design, troubleshooting, joint use, telecommunications, etc.

Coachable eager to learn and pick up on new skills

Hardworking with an outgoing personality

Ability to be a problem solver and aptitude to be forward-thinking

Passion or interest in engineering design work relating to the distribution industry Joint Use or Market Ready experience

Experience within utilities/telecommunications/distribution null
