This position is responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the Facility and Streetcar station stops.

$17.27/hour with annual increases

Full benefit package available after 90 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, & 401K

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports Transportation staff in response to stations and streetcars

• Clean facility and station stops, including sweeping, mopping, trash, ect.

• Keep the facility clean including restrooms and grounds

• Adheres to all safety and organizational rules, policies, and procedures

• Ensures equipment/facility availability requirements are consistently met

• Supports the Streetcar Vehicle and Wayside working groups whenever required

• Reports all accidents, incidents, or unusual transit occurrences and accurately completes all required reporting

• Other duties as required

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Qualified to drive and possess a valid State driver’s license in good standing

• Relevant training or certification in building or equipment maintenance is preferred

Experience:

• Two years’ experience a related field is preferred. Equivalence of experience and education will be considered.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Must have good oral and written communications skills

• Must be able to work amid constant interruptions, prioritize and deal with time pressured deadlines and be able to clearly communicate during such occasions

• Must be motivated, and have the ability to receive instruction and the ability to handle crisis and conflict situations.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Must submit and successfully pass drug testing, criminal background check and verification of previous employment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to pass periodic random drug/alcohol screenings as this is a safety sensitive position

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules, including weekends as needed

• This position requires the wearing of a uniform

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of conditions (e.g. weather, rain, dust, noise, heat, cold)

• Job requires standing, bending, stooping, kneeling and walking throughout the shift

• Must handle parts and equipment ranging from 10 to 50 lbs.
