The Role

RedMane is seeking a Training Curriculum Developer as we continue to grow our Chicago based practice. Our cloud-based SaaS platform, mCase, is the only child welfare solution designed by experienced social workers to meet a caseworker'2019s specific needs. This unique cloud-based system helps child welfare professionals by eliminating manually intensive processes so caseworkers can spend more time focusing on prevention.

The Training Curriculum Developer will be responsible for the creation of e-learning and product training materials (presentation content, graphics, labs, trainer delivery notes, job aids, and assessment questions) that enable users to effectively use, administer, and configure our mCase product.

Responsibilities:

  • Work both independently and cross-functionally with subject matter experts to shape effective e-learning instructional content using realistic business examples and appropriate hands-on activities.

  • Develop training plans for affected stakeholders

  • Develop training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)

  • Provide means of administering a Learning Management System (LMS) system to track employee training participation and progress.

  • Create validation activities to measure learning attainment of course objectives.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules and regulations for training

    Skills & Role Requirements

  • 5- B years of experience developing training materials with particular emphasis on e-learning, videos, and infographics for online and classroom trainings

  • Demonstrated experience in learning styles, participatory methods, instructional design, whole system design, e-learning, blended learning and related topics

  • Demonstrated experience in adult learning theory and practice

  • Demonstrated experience working with learning management systems

  • Experience using various tools (ie Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate etc) to develop training material

  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • Ability to lead/facilitate meetings and/or workshops

  • Ability to travel periodically
