Job Description:

We’re looking for a Supervisor, Brand Communications to drive programs that effectively reach and engage defined and diverse audiences (e.g., media, consumers, community influencers, industry experts, third party organizations, etc.) to drive the business and build relevance, affinity, and awareness. The ideal candidate has experience supporting communications objectives that directly support business outcomes and executing multi-channel communications campaigns, including those targeted at multicultural audiences.

Responsibilities 

  • Create and implement best-in-class integrated communications plans that align with key business and marketing objectives 

  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive earned PR ideas into execution  

  • Reach and influence target audiences by delivering effective messaging, creative storytelling, channel strategies, content and media and stakeholder engagement plans  

  • Monitor, analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR efforts, continuously identifying ways to improve strategies based on performance and industry trends 

  • Manage agency partners and support budget management 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a brand/consumer communications role, either in-house or at an agency 

  • Relevant communications expertise targeting external audiences (i.e. stakeholder, influencer, consumer, earned media); multicultural experience is a must 

  • Strong understanding of diverse cultural audiences and how to leverage key cultural insights to drive communications strategies 

  • Proven foundational PR skills, including mastery of media material development, tactical plans and reporting  

  • Natural storyteller with excellent written and oral communications skills, including an ability to convey complex issues in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences 

  • Self-starter and problem-solver with strong sense of initiative, focused on results; ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and, at times, within ambiguous and undefined circumstances 

  • Champion of diverse perspectives who proactively cultivates an inclusive culture 

  • Consistent eagerness to listen, learn, apply knowledge and accept feedback 

  • Strong advisory skills with the ability to offer credible advice to senior leaders 

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, while being flexible, collaborative and deadline-driven 

  • Excellent organizational skills and steward of best practices across teams
