Overview
Senior 3D Specialists use critical thinking and their design experience to digitally build and render 3D models of products, displays, and in-store environments, ensuring they align with the brand's aesthetics, dimensions, and adhere to production processes/deadlines. To be a successful 3D specialist, you should be detail-oriented, flexible, and a good team player, while being able to work independently. Ultimately, a Senior 3D Specialist is creative and artistic with an expert-level working knowledge of color, texture, and light as well as industry-standard software.
Extend and translate established creative concepts into production-ready digital, web, and print content
Works with their creative counterparts to deliver 3D work on time and on brief
Partners with creative team members to develop strategic executions through a variety of tactics
Build out the visualizations of the idea across the activation
Present work at creative check-ins and work reviews, having previously honed their communication and presentation skills
May attend kickoffs and expected to ask questions to understand what is needed
Participate in creative team meetings and work check-ins
Takes on revision orders and completes them in a timely manner with an attention to detail
Works with corresponding teams for approval
Builds files properly and on deadline including final release to job specifications
Drops work into presentation deck ahead of review and may help design said deck
Own deliverables and pieces of a project from start to finish
Actively communicates needs and potential solutions with creative team members
Qualifications
Requires 5+ years of experience as a 3D artist, art director, graphic designer, or similar role
A strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects
Ability to concept, design and render 3D tools with a design eye for composition and visual aesthetics and structural integrity
Strong understanding of materials and executional feasibility for retail execution. Expert in shopper marketing principles
Understands the agency’s vision and how their work contributes to the bigger picture
Models how to manage their time efficiently and enter it accurately
Expert in Retailer specifications and production techniques to improve structural design accuracy
Proven knowledge of animation, concepting, interactive, and rendering
Ability to juggle multiple projects with agility and attention to detail while prioritizing deliverables
Master level knowledge of industry-standard software, such as Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, and Maya.

Compensation Range: $79,990 - $114,975 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
