SimBioSys (http://www.simbiosys.com) is seeking an exceptionally talented computational scientist to work on one of the most important challenges in medicine - delivering on the promise of precision medicine.
We are building the future of precision cancer care with a groundbreaking 4D Tumor Modeling Platform, TumorScope, to enable individualized treatment planning for Cancer patients.
We are seeking candidates who can contribute to the development and implementation of mathematical models of drug efficacy. The work will require the rare ability to distill complex mechanisms of action down to their simplest terms, cast them in mathematical form, and implement computational methods to model them. Above all, ideal candidates should be creative problem-solvers, with a willingness to try a range of approaches to tackle each new challenge.
Areas of interest should include pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, biochemical kinetics, and cancer-immune cell interactions.
The position will require you to design and drive projects and work closely with team members and pharmaceutical developers to model their drugs using early efficacy data, and analyze results from SimBioSys' TumorScope platform to provide insights for clinical trial optimization. Fostering your analytical, biological, and computational skills, this position will provide you real world experience solving problems, while allowing you to contribute to the fight against cancer.
