Help at Home Field Training Delivery Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Job Summary:

The Training Delivery Manager is accountable for the successful execution of the training and delivery strategy for Help at Home’s Caregivers and Field administration staff.

This role will manage a team of Regional Training Specialists who facilitate training in HAH markets. The Manger will effectively lead this team and work with matrix partner to define learning opportunities and suitable delivery methods. The role will also partner with market leadership to develop learning delivery plans and opportunities for improvement that align with business needs and priorities.

**This position will work from their home office with monthly or quarterly travel

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team to review current operations, develop recommendations, and deliver on roadmap.

  • Manage scheduling and coverage plans for field training team.

  • Lead instructor led and on-the job-training.

  • Partner with Learning and Development to select and/or develop training materials and proper delivery methods.

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to Training Specialists.

  • Assesses plans, develops, implements, and evaluates ongoing delivery needs across Help at Home markets and in alignment with business strategy and priorities.

  • Work across teams to deliver cohesive training plans.

  • Support training and coaching respectively through trends, dashboards, and metrics working with Branch Manager, and supervisory Staff.

  • Ensure all programs meet regulatory expectations and standards.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • A minimum 4 years of professional experience in the area of training and development.

  • 4 to 5 years of experience managing a training function at a company of comparable size.

  • A track record of proven and successful leadership in overseeing a training and development department.

  • Ability to demonstrate experience in content creation, training process management, and successful development of ongoing training and development programs.

  • Previous experience in home health/home care setting strongly preferred.

  • Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of SharePoint and Smartsheet a plus.

  • Potential for up to 20-30% domestic travel, as required

Physical Requirements:

  • Majority (90%) of work is conducted indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.

  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
