CIBC Bank USA seeks a Director, Risk Data and Transformation Lead to support strategy development, prioritization, and roadmapping of US risk data management and governance frameworks. Lead strategic initiatives related to cloud services, including transition of Risk Analytics to Azure Databricks. Initiate and review Azure cloud architecture requirements. Ensure alignment of cloud transformation efforts with risk management strategies. Support design of end-to-end solutions for implementation and oversight of risk data governance and controls. Lead the enablement of new analytical capabilities for risk modeling, reporting, and regulatory inquiry needs. Establish and cultivate strong working relationships with business leaders. Manage a growing team of banking professionals. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field, and 5 years of experience with credit risk analytics and credit risk management in a bank or financial services organization. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with building analytical solutions with varying data sources; 5 years of experience with quantitative modeling for credit risk; 5 years of experience with data visualization and programming languages, including Python, SAS, and SQL; 3 years of experience with cloud computing, architecture, and data platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; and 2 years of experience with PySpark. Part-time telecommuting permitted.

This role has an expected salary range of $146,300.00 - $243,800.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
