Digital Healthcare Marketing Analyst

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in Chicago, IL ; Atlanta, GA ; and Denver, CO .

The Digital Healthcare Marketing Analyst will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics to extract valuable insights from healthcare and digital marketing data. It will utilize AI and Data Science methodologies, the role showcases increased value and improved quality. This job entails precise analysis of healthcare digital consumer behavior, preferences, and interests, which empowers marketers to assess the efficacy of marketing campaigns, identify emerging trends, and refine marketing strategies to yield improved outcomes

How you will make an impact:

  • Leveraging analytical data insights to support the development of business solutions based on quality, usage, cost, and other critical determinants.

  • Designing and developing analytics to support digital and clinical member management programs.

  • One specific focus is marketing outreach analytics including creating targeting lists, implementing measurement strategies, and creating optimization recommendations for product management.

  • Creating tools to evaluate marketing, clinical, utilization, and financial results to validate their value to the business.

  • Prepares analytical data sets in support of modeling studies.

  • Build, test, and validate statistical models.

  • Publishes results and address constraints/limitations with high level business partners.

  • Proactively collaborates with business partners to determine identified population segments and develop actionable plans to enable the identification of patterns related to quality, use, cost and other variables.

  • Assisting and learning about the creation of predictive modeling/machine learning models to enhance business efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires MS, MA, or PhD with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, cognitive science, economics, or operations research, a minimum of 3 years direct experience programming large, multi-source datasets with SAS required, and a minimum of 3 years in health care setting; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • 3-5 years of related analytics experience along with advanced expertise in tools like AWS Snowflake, Teradata SQL, Apache Hive/Impala, SAS, Python, Advanced Excel or equivalent analytical and database platforms strongly preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare related field strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to design modeling studies and experience with data models, addressing data quality issues in study design, constructing robust and efficient analytical data sets strongly preferred.

  • Trainings or certifications as supporting evidence of use of data bases datamining, statistical software preferred.

  • Capacity and interest to learn to use healthcare and digital marketing industry toolsets including knowledgebases, taxonomies, healthcare claims data.

  • Display or have experience effectively communicating your results meaning strong presentation/writing/communication skills to liaise with mid-level and senior management to support analytics and evaluation regularly.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $87,360 to $144,144.
