AON Account Specialist Development & Service Excellence Leader in United States

Aon is looking for an Account Specialist Development & Service Excellence Leader!

The Account Specialist Development and Service Excellence Leader will collaborate with the CSDLs, Account Specialist Managers, Account Executive Leaders, and COO’s to develop and execute an evolving strategy around Account Specialist talent, development, and service optimization. This role will work with both Account Specialist leadership and Account Executive Leadership to understand and remediate service issues, and to consistently provide a robust training and development plan to support 450 colleagues.

This position will report to a Regional COO with ultimate accountability to improve client retention by supporting our Account Executives and Account Specialists.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage training curriculum for new hires and experienced colleagues and institute a feedback process where training continually evolves to meet the needs of our clients

  • Regularly meet with Account Executive Leaders to discuss and evaluate adequacy of AS capacity

  • Execute quarterly stewardship calls with AE leaders to gather feedback on AS team support and performance

  • Where there are challenges locally between AE’s and Account Specialists facilitate dialogue in partnership with the Client Service Delivery Leader to problem solve and execute an outcome; ensure hybrid compliance

  • Support service escalations and identify functional and/or process changes that would improve the client and/or colleague experience; monitor service escalation items for trends

  • Support the development of an AS talent pipeline, including new or additional career path opportunities for experienced colleagues

  • Design and execute an AS engagement plan designed to improve retention

  • Create a formal “Aon Connector” list nationally to ensure the connectors are all willing to support new colleagues and can provide a consistent experience

  • Support and accelerate Aon’s 3 x 3

    Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience; experience in either Broking or Account Management functions preferred

  • Property & casualty insurance experience required

  • Previous management experience strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and work within deadlines

  • Strong project management discipline and experience leading projects independently

  • Professional approach and strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong product and technical knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • P&C license required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

    The target salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $180,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
