Goddard School Part-time Split Shift Assistant Teacher in Chesterfield, Virginia
Our Award-Winning Goddard School located at 10211 Krause Road in Chesterfield is looking to add a split shift part-time Assistant Teacher (hours 7:00 - 9:30 & 3:00 - 6:15.) with at least 6 months experience in a licensed facility to join our Team. * We are looking for that special someone to be hands-on and loving in our Preschool or School-Age classrooms. We pride ourselves on providing the best childcare experience for all children and families in our school. Responsibilities * Helps and supervises children during all activities * Ensures that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained * Helps children with meal times and clean-up * Helps with keeping accurate attendance numbers at all times, including signing children in/out in attendance binder and on tablet * Performs other duties as assigned * Ability to lift children up to 40lbs Benefits * Paid Holidays After 90 Days of Employment * Paid Days Off Days After 90 Days of Employment Educational Qualifications All candidates, who wish to be considered for the position of Assistant Teacher, must have at least a high school diploma, GED, or a degree in Education and 6 months experience working in a child care or school setting.
