Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment such as centrifugal pumps, gearboxes, fans, and agitators. Your role includes inspecting and examining machinery to detect and rectify malfunctions, performing shift rounds, and resolving maintenance issues collaboratively with the team. You will install and replace various machine components and complete precision repairs and rebuilds. Additionally, you will align machines using optical and laser equipment, operate various tools, and engage in lubricating maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment. Supporting a safe working environment by adhering to safety rules and helping in training operators are also key aspects of this role.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Work Environment

Indoor/Outdoor non-climate controlled environment, working rotating 12-hour shifts. The long-term schedule will follow the Dupont schedule, providing 7 consecutive days off per month.
