About the Role

Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Technical Safety Specialist at our manufacturing facility in Cherokee, AL.

What You Will Do

  • An Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment;
  • P rovide local expertise and knowledge of Machinery Safety process;
  • Participates in new machinery projects to assure safety performance level of machines are met;
  • Provides local expertise and knowledge to implement and maintain a robust system for Process Safety;
  • Provides support and ownership of equipment audits and inspections of Technical Safety equipment and PPE;
  • Participates in required networks for regional technical safety activities with other sites and Global Technical Safety group;
  • Is supporting the site in RCA for any incidents where technical safety is an element.
