The OPTIMA team is looking for a Senior Program Manager, PMO who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the shopping experience for customers worldwide.

We at OPTIMA enable Amazon to deliver a superior shopping experience to customers worldwide. Our mission is to help develop Amazon's LLMs through Reinforcement Learning. We aspire to provide an end-to-end data solution for the LLM lifecycle, leveraging cutting-edge technology alongside our operational excellence. We enable shopping feature teams deliver superior CX quality by providing them reliable and comprehensive insights and ground truth data to measure and train ML (Machine Learning) models and handle annotation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across 10 different languages.

Key job responsibilities

Senior Program Manager, PMO, will integrate, monitor/track the multiple programs/projects from proof of concept/pilot to those at Amazon scale. This individual will have the ownership to drive new programs and manage existing programs The role involves.

• Analyzing and reporting financial data, including project budgets.

• Collaborate with global tech teams and internal customers to define, prioritize, and develop program/projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.

• Build relationships with internal/external teams, be flexible, capable of dealing with ambiguity and demonstrating strong analytical skills.

• Track Operational Productivity improvements, resulting in a visible OP2 improvement plan to be followed up on an ongoing basis.

• Manage program accountability to deliver on expected targets (quality, compliance, cost, return on investment).

• Develop business requirements for system improvements to support OPTIMA's growth and strategic business design.

• Maintain project plans, assigning and tracking tasks to respective teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

• Demonstrated ability to lead with influence rather than authority, excellent customer engagement.

• Demonstrated success when delivering programs or solutions for external customers

• Experience in product, program, and/or project management

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

• Strong data analysis skills; the ability to extract and synthesize data in order to make data-backed business decisions

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at varying levels in the organization.

• Bachelor’s Degree from a Top Tier University.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience

• MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing

• Experience driving improvement, innovating new processes.

• Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from a Top Tier University preferred.
