We are looking for an experienced and passionate Azure Cloud Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions using Azure services and best practices. You will also work closely with other architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the cloud solutions meet the business requirements and adhere to the security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develops new VDI infrastructure and application implementation plans and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability and scalability

• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the infrastructure

• Works with business stakeholders to ensure project delivery expectations are communicated and met and to drive adoption

• Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively

• Design and develop cloud architectures using Azure services and tools

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations on cloud solutions and best practices

• Collaborate with other architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions that meet the business needs and objectives

• Ensure that the cloud solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective

• Perform cloud assessments, migrations, and optimizations

• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cloud technologies and services

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

• Proficient in determining the appropriate strategy for recoverability and continuity of business operations

• At least 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and development

• At least 3 years of experience in Azure cloud services and tools

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud concepts, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Compute, Azure Security, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, etc

• 3-5 years extensive Microsoft server/desktop administration and Active Directory in multi domain forest environment (including GPOs, JSON, PowerShell scripting, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, RDS (Remote Desktop Services), SQL)

• Proficient in cloud design patterns, such as microservices, serverless, event-driven, etc

• Experience in cloud migration, optimization, and automation

• Experience in cloud security and compliance

• Experience in cloud testing and debugging tools and techniques

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Azure certifications are a plus

Desired Qualifications:

• Designing and supporting Microsoft infrastructure solutions including Azure Virtual Desktop

• Experience working with multiple vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware Horizon

• 3-5 years of overall virtual desktop experience

• Experience in cloud native development using languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, etc

• Experience with automation techniques in cloud infrastructure

• Ability to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and be service-oriented

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Team-oriented and adaptable
