Citigroup Cash & Trade Proc Sr Supv - C11 - CHENNAI in Chennai, India

Night Shift The Cash and Trade Proc Sr Supv is an intermediate level role to ensure the smooth processing of various Preferred custody activity including executing Banking official checks, disbursements, wire transfers, mutual fund transactions, MF buy/sell orders, FX currency/exchanges, global custody services, trade tickets, trade support processing tickets, cash transactions, Investment account closures and account updates accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the processing queue and ensure timely action on each request within SLA guidelines.

  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively, providing resolutions and communicating updates as necessary.

  • Execute Banking official checks, disbursements, wire transfers, mutual fund transactions, MF buy/sell orders, FX currency/exchanges, global custody services, trade tickets, trade support processing tickets, cash transactions, Investment account closures and account updates accurately and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address any discrepancies or issues in processing activities.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.

  • Maintain comprehensive SOP documentation of all processed transactions and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in Preferred Custody or Investment Operations.

  • Proficiency in handling a wide range of processing activities including Banking official checks, disbursements, wire transfers, mutual fund transactions, MF buy/sell orders, FX currency/exchanges, global custody services, trade tickets, trade support processing tickets, cash transactions, Investment account closures and account updates.

  • Strong understanding of SLA adherence and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
