Job Summary: The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a full-time (9-month) Clinical Assistant faculty position to begin August 16, 2024. We may hire one or more applicants from this pool of applicants. Position responsibilities include: • Teach graduate courses consistent with expertise and department instructional needs • Advise DPT students • Provide service to the university, community, and PT profession The DPT Program is located at EWU Spokane, a health sciences campus with state-of-the-art space and facilities. The campus is located next to downtown Spokane, and is within walking distance to trails along the Spokane River. Spokane is the heart of the Inland Northwest, with excellent restaurants, theaters, shopping, skiing, hiking, lakes, and high-quality schools and affordable housing. The Spokane campus is a satellite of EWU's main campus in Cheney, WA. The DPT Program is 2 years 9 months in length, has 9 full-time faculty members, and admits 38 students each fall. Opportunities for summer teaching may be available. The expected salary upon hire is $76,008.
