[Duties of a Warehouse Specialist [The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for hands-on warehouse operations at a secure Government facility. Duties will include but not necessarily be limited to[:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

Load and unload freight vehicles, using a forklift as necessary;

X-ray all incoming parcels/freight upon arrival at the warehouse;

Verify product information, count, and condition of all items received;

Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse/work area using standard industry warehousing methods, procedures, and techniques to include daily sweeping and trash removal;

Issue/deliver supplies and items from the warehouse;

Conduct quarterly wall-to-wall inventories to verify item descriptions, stock numbers, quantities, and locations;

Have scales calibrated quarterly and furnish written notification of compliance;

Assist in the assembly, installation, and relocation of furniture and equipment; and

Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing parcels/freight and current inventories in a computerized inventory management system.
