Job Title: Laser Welder

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Laser Welder to join our dynamic team. The role involves performing laser welding of microelectronic assemblies to create hermetic seals, utilizing automated machines, leak checking, operating vacuum ovens, thermal chambers, and working with mechanical presses, inert gas mixture gloveboxes, and solder vacuum furnaces. You will also troubleshoot assemblies that do not pass leak checks and engage in various microelectronic assembly tasks.

Hard Skills

• 3+ years of experience operating laser welding equipment for hermetic sealing

• Experience working under a microscope for extended periods

• Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings

• Proficient computer skills for retrieval of drawings, work instructions, and other job activities

• Skilled in utilizing hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar instruments

Soft Skills

• Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly without compromising quality

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 47 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

Candidates are required to have an interim secret clearance to start, with a preference for those holding an active or previously active secret clearance. The position operates on first shift hours from 6:00am to 4:30pm.
