JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to coordinate, distribute, and analyze commercial sales data including quote request data management, scheduling and distributing quotes, creating, coordinating, and analyzing sales quote reports, liaison between internal departments, and assisting with operational logistics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage RFQs in SFDC including but not limited to entering the data, outlining proposal exceptions to specifications, escalating challenges, assisting with communications to legal on contract negotiations, and maintaining data for jobs not awarded.
Maintain schedule and loading for inside sales team members and each plant by workings with sales managers to assign proposals based on loading, informing them of which plant to quote the opportunity from
Communicate on weekly basis, status of open proposals, required extensions, current lead-times, etc.
Coordinate with Inside & Outside Sales Managers to ensure all proposals are submitted complete and on-time, work with the Outside Sales Team to request extensions as needed
Serve as intermediary between Inside Sales & Outside Sales, ensuring that all pertinent team members are kept up to date and copied on important information and other communications
Schedule and conduct pre-bid reviews with pertinent parties as required and in accordance with the Avail Delegation of Authority
Create and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly Reports including consolidation of group sales analysis, hit rate, bid volume, loss analysis, etc.
Facilitate new customer credit app and intake form, and work with Sales Intelligence Manager to convert from Prospect to Vetted Customer when applicable
Facilitate monthly post-mortem discussion of opportunities, document lessons learned, and report to operations and commercial leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
2 year Associates Degree or experience in lieu and 5 years of relative experience
Experience in Sales Force preferred
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze data for trends and to make recommendations
