Summary/Objective
Performs guest safety and recreational work supervising, swimming and enforcing regulations at community pools as well as providing for the guests’ comfort. An essential responsibility of this role includes ensuring cleanliness, setting -up and maintaining safety of all areas and facilities and greeting all guests within the community pool area as per the safety guidelines of the property management.
START DATE is on or around Friday, May 23, 2025. Pay is $15.00/hour.
Shifts are 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays
Experience/Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Cardiovascular Emergency Skills – CPR and First Aid Certified Preferred (not required)
Tasks and Activities of the Pool Attendant
Arrive 10 minutes before the shift begins
Greet guests and check for pool passes
Unlock the entrance to the pool, the pump room, and the restroom
Check to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly
Check the pool water clarity, cleanliness, if any issues report them timely
Complete the opening and closing duties checklist
Clean and maintain the pool deck throughout your shift
Clean and maintain restroom throughout your shift
Clean furniture as needed throughout shift
Enforce all pool rules
Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with residents at the pool
Maintain pool cleanliness, safety, and guest relationships by hourly walks around the deck and pool
Complete employer-provided training courses in a timely fashion
Notify the Property Manager if any pool supplies are needed
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a seasonal part-time position; hours vary by location. Shifts are usually 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
