ABM Industries Ultra Lead Cleaner in Charlotte, North Carolina

Overview

Job Summary Details:

The Ultra lead is responsible for detail cleaning the aircraft and quality check the areas of his/her team is assigned to. Responsible for managing the time in which the team has on the aircraft. The Ultra lead is to ensure their team is to complete 2 aircraft ultra cleans each night. Perform security searches and make sure all ultra material is returned to its designated area. Overnight shift 10am-6:30am. Starting pay $18.00. Bi-weekly pay. Must have previous related experience as lead/supervisor, preferably in the janitorial field. Must be able to work weekends.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Relatable experience required.

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

  • Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal.

  • Attention to detail is very important.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience

  • The work environment has a moderate to high noise level.

  • Employees are exposed to a variety of weather conditions as they travel to and from aircraft on the ramp.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft.

• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems

• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from passengers, groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
