JOB SUMMARY
Experienced management role leading a team of analysts and senior analysts in the delivery of complex and comprehensive climate risk & ESG reporting, data, business intelligence, and related services. Role is primarily aligned to support stakeholders, needs, and initiatives within the Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility Team.
This role will be partnering with a team of analysts and senior analysts to ensure timely and accurate execution of reports, analyses, data, system-related or operational tasks. Ensuring that key departmental processes are documented and that appropriate controls are in place. Developing consultative relationships with leaders within the Risk Management Organization (RMO) and other areas of Truist.

Identifies and resolves technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
May play a lead role or technical consultant role in large or complex projects or initiatives.
Has full management responsibilities for teammates: hiring, disciplinary, coaching, terminating, performance reviews.
Job with primary focus on management responsibilities that directly manages a team (5 or more teammates) of professionals.
This higher level of Manager (level 2) reflects a large scope relative to the typical Manager role and indicates a focus on a highly complex client group. May manage a team made up of subordinate managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System, and 10+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
In-depth and broad knowledge within Finance and regulatory disciplines.
Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.
Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
Ability to manage a team, including identifying and recruiting talent, managing performance, and making decisions about resource allocation.
Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective and handle interpersonal issues with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to handle multiple high profile projects in aggressive timeline with high quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or MBA and minimum of 10 years of related experience. In-depth experience in the banking industry.
In-depth and broad knowledge of ESG environment. Knowledge of the pending regulatory environment as it pertains to requirements for emissions reporting. Solid understanding of key business processes and strategies.
Knowledge of the external environment, including Truist's competition, regulatory requirements and trends, and the strategies employed to continually meet the demands of clients and regulators.
Previous experience in banking, with specific emphasis on ESG or Climate Risk reporting, business intelligence, systems, technology, data, risk, compliance or related areas
Advanced skills in data wrangling, data engineering, data science, or related areas. Experience with languages and tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, Qlik, Tableau, etc
