Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges

As a subject matter expert over financial investigations, you will personally conduct some of the most complex and sophisticated investigations related to finance, revenue and accounting. You will perform interviews, both remote and in person. You will also review documents, communications, digital evidence and other sources of information, including output from data analytics.

You will be required to prepare clear and concise investigative reports based upon findings as a result of your investigations, to include associated culpability documentation. You will be expected to serve as a subject matter expert, assisting other investigators with complex financial concepts and acting as a bridge to the audit function. You will also be expected to identify gaps in processes, policies and procedures and work with SMEs and the business to prepare proposed corrective actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and conduct thorough financial investigations

  • Analyze complex financial data and prepare detailed reports

  • Prepare comprehensive investigative reports

  • Manage and protect confidential information

  • Collaborate with Audit, Legal, HR and business stakeholders

  • Provide high level briefings

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise related to financial investigations, finance and accounting concepts.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Business acumen

  • Commitment to integrity

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA or CFE certification preferred)

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in corporate investigations and compliance

  • Experience in a law enforcement or intelligence agency

  • Experience in fraud detection and investigation

  • Ability to coach and mentor others

  • Ability to talk to people and actively listen

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

  • Proven judgment, decision making ability and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to analyze complex situations and identify subtle interrelationships and patterns

  • Maturity, emotional intelligence and the ability to deal with highly confidential information
