Robert Half Finance Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The primary role revolves around interfacing with senior management to ensure corporate financial goals are reflected in divisional budgets and forecasts. The successful candidate will facilitate business leaders' ability to communicate operational objectives in financial terms and manage the analytical analysis of business financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth financial analysis and assist with the establishment of key divisional performance indicators

• Assist with the division’s business intelligence and financial analysis initiatives

• Interact with operational management, Accounting Department management and the Business Development organization to ensure business objectives are translated into financial goals

• Serve as a liaison between accounting and operating groups

• Provide financial support for business development efforts

• Provide cost/benefit analysis and discounted cash flow models to decision makers

• Provide cash forecasts

• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual results as compared to budgets and forecasts

• Manage and evaluate employees through performance reviews, ongoing coaching, and feedback methods

• Prepare and administer budget according to plan, monitor budget variances, provide explanations on variances, and take appropriate action

• Follow organizational policies and procedures and ensure staff is in compliance.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in CapEx, Budget Processes, and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

• Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) and Financial Analysis

• Familiarity with Oracle

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
