Honeywell Director IT - Cloud FinOps in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Director of Cloud FinOps here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the financial operations of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing the cost management, budgeting, and forecasting of our cloud services. Your expertise will help drive efficiency and cost savings while ensuring the scalability and reliability of our cloud environment.

You will report directly to our VP of IT and you'll work out of our Charlotte, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the financial performance of our cloud operations, driving cost optimization initiatives and implementing best practices to maximize the value of our cloud investments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide the full transparency and chargeback model for each SBG CIO / CTO.

· Develop and implement strategies for cost management, budgeting, and forecasting of cloud services

· Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud spending with business objectives

· Establish and maintain financial controls and governance processes for cloud operations

Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making

YOU MUST HAVE

• 10+ years of experience in financial management or related field

• Strong understanding of cloud computing and cloud cost management

• Proven track record in driving cost optimization initiatives and achieving financial targets

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Experience with cloud financial management tools and platforms

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
