Job Purpose

Initiates, directs, and coordinates a wide variety of complex operations for the Associate Provost for Student Success, the Office of the Provost, and the seven departments within the Office for Student Success. Coordinates budget planning and resource allocation for the Office for Student Success. Manages records, requests for access to information, and reporting functions. Processes faculty and staff paperwork for the Office of the Provost. Supports shared projects within the Office of the Provost as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree and at least three years of administrative experience is required. Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures is required. Professional experience in a higher education setting is strongly preferred. Successful development and execution of conferences, workshops, and special events is a plus. Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal confidentially with sensitive information, and discretion are essential. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must have strong organizational and communication skills, knowledge of and experience with social media, and technical skills related to operating systems, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools. Ability to research, analyze and interpret data and compile reports is important. Knowledge of Banner,FERPA, and other governing policies preferred.

Additional Comments Regarding Position

Some evening work and occasional weekend work related to events and travel for conferences may occasionally be required.
