Who You Are

Hairstylist must be able to comply with public facility sanitation requirements including Barber and Beauty Shop Requirements, Health and Personal Hygiene of Barber and Beauty Shop Hairdressers, Taking Care of and Disinfecting of Instruments, prefectural, and national laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations. Barber must possess sound knowledge of basic hairstyles and trends, ability to follow instructions, ability to stand for extended periods, and exceptional customer service skills.

This role will be located in Chantilly, VA , and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

What You’ll Do

As a Hairstylist, you will:

• Cut, color, and style hair according to clients' instructions and current hairstyles.

• Provide hair treatments and scalp massages.

• Offer advice on hair care products and styling maintenance.

• Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

• Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Valid hairstylist license.

• 5+ Years proven experience as a hairstylist.

• Good understanding of styling trends and cosmetic products.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

• Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

Clearance: Secret level Security Clearance is required to start.
