Responsibilities

We are looking for a NICU Nurse to join our team and provide round-the-clock care for premature and ill newborn infants. NICU Nurse responsibilities include administering care to newborn infants residing in the NICU, running various medical tests, and supporting families as needed. Ultimately, your role will extend beyond critical care. You will also collaborate closely with parents and guardians, providing them with essential information and support.

Responsibilities

  • Works calmly and carefully in fast-paced and high-stress situations.

  • Provides exceptional patient care and is detail-oriented and attentive.

  • Assist the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments

  • Attends high-risk deliveries.

  • Implements doctor-recommended treatment plans.

  • Monitors newborns and records their symptoms and vitals.

  • Comforts parents and answers questions about their baby’s health.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Experience:

  • One year recent acute care experience

Licensure:

  • AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.

  • BLS Certification.

  • NRP and Complete STABLE required within 6 months of hire

$32.50 - $58.90 /hour
