NETwork Ministries 2 Jobs: Kids Club Coordinator + Middle School Coordinator in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
Organizational Profile: What is NETwork Ministries? NETwork is a youth ministry for children and teens in downtown Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Since 1993, we've been committed to sharing in the love of Christ with those who are most vulnerable in our community. Our desire is to minister to the whole person with the gospel of Jesus. With this in mind, we especially seek to equip children and young adults with the skills necessary for these four areas of focus: spiritual growth, academic achievement, life management, and Christian leadership. We accomplish this mission through a variety of after school and summer activities for youth.
Job Profiles for Both Positions: Kids Club + FLAVA (Middle School) The Kids Club Coordinator leads the Kids Club after school ministry for elementary students and the Middle School Coordinator leads the FLAVA after school ministry. In addition to consistently and creatively reaching youth in the neighborhood, equipping high school student leaders and volunteers to minister with young people is a crucial part of this position. While we expect the focus to be partially shaped by the skills and gifts of the leader, it is our hope that this leader be able to focus both on discipling a smaller group of youth who want to grow in Jesus and on reaching larger groups through after school opportunities and other fun activities, special events, or off-campus trips. Both programs are open 4-5 days a week and both positions are listed as full-time, but we would also consider a part-time candidate at 25 or 30 hours a week.
