The PDx Global FP&A Strategy & Planning Leader will be responsible for leading the long-term planning sessions, strategic initiatives, and investor relations process for the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics business, a $2BN+ externally reported segment of GE HealthCare. Reporting to the PDx FP&A Executive, the selected candidate will own our strategic planning cycles, while enhancing visibility of macroeconomic, competition, and internal strategy impacts on the segment operating performance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the FP&A lead for the segment strategic planning cycles, encompassing the World-Wide Product Plan (WWPP), 3-year Long Term Strategy (LTS) and the annual Budget process, integrating macroeconomic forecasts, competitive analysis, and industry trends to inform company strategy and relative performance.

  • Responsible for developing the segment Strategic FP&A framework - designing and implementing robust standard work to track and report on the execution of key initiatives.

  • Utilize economic data and market intelligence to develop strategic scenarios and stress tests, preparing the company for various market conditions. Translate complex economic trends and performance into clear strategic insight.

  • Support the PDx Organization with centralized financial reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and support strategic decision making. Invest in improving reporting processes through standard work and automation.

  • Own the preparation process in the lead up to GE HealthCare Earnings including preparation of the Investor Relations Script, relevant back up materials & preparation of Q&A for the earnings call.

  • Collaborate with the broader finance organization, product, and market leaders, establishing appropriate mechanisms to capture external and internal insights in timely way.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, strategic planning, or related roles, with a proven track record in strategic leadership. Experience in a global or multi-national company is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to executive stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage timelines and coordinate multiple inputs and stakeholders effectively.

  • Ability to build/create new processes with a bias for standard work and automation; comfortable navigating financial/non-financial ERPs and associated systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
